PRAIA EVENTS VENUE CONDITIONS

Scope and Responsibility

This contract covers all aspects relating to the aforementioned event which shall in no way be limited to the items enumerated hereunder. It is the responsibility of the undersigned client to disseminate the information to all concerned parties such that the latter shall be bound by the rights and responsibilities set forth in this agreement. The undersigned client hereby undertakes to assume ultimate liability/penalty that may be imposed by virtue of this agreement.

 

Rental Fee

A minimum reservation fee of P3,000 or 50% of the total amount due, handpaid by the undersigned client or his authorized representative, is required to confirm the booking. This amount is deductible from the total rental fee but shall be non-refundable under any circumstances. The remaining balance shall be paid at least seven [7] days before the day of the event. Failure to do so will forfeit the reservation.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations are allowed seven [7] days before the event date. For cancellations, any payment other than the reservation fee will be refunded. For rebooking, only one-time rebooking is allowed on any available date and can be made until 24 hours prior to the event date.

 

Rental Hours

Rental hours shall be understood to run for 5 hours (exclusive of set-up) between 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Bystanders are not allowed after rental hours. The venue must also be cleared of supplier equipment and materials.

 

Rental Space

Venue is inclusive only of the Beachfront Garden, Gazebo, Grill area, a Powder Room and an Open Shower space. Only checked-in guests are allowed access to the premises inside the building. Whenever necessary, the Patio area may be utilized with the express permission of the management.

 

Environmental Responsibility

Pursuant to the provisions of R.A. 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2020 to ensure protection of public health and environment, trash bins are provided in the area. Any waste material must then be disposed of responsibly.

 

Property Damage

Decorations may be put up; however, only The Praia staff shall move any furnishings, including but not limited to tables, seats, antiques, and artworks. No penetrating items, such as, but not limited to, nails, screws, and staples, are to be used on any property belonging to the Praia. Any damage will have to be settled and paid accordingly by the undersigned client in case of refusal or inability to pay by the person directly responsible.

 

Live Music/Noise

Sounds Off Policy at 10:00 PM is strictly implemented. Subwoofers are also not allowed.

 

Disturbances

The management has the right to suspend any type of disturbances that may harm or offend directly or indirectly the residents within the vicinity.

 

Liability

The venue management shall not be held responsible for any force majeure, such as, but not limited to, unannounced power outage by NORECO II and unsuitable weather.
